Arcades or Home Consoles?

Postby Gentleman Cat on Fri Mar 05, 2010 12:14 am

wow, no one has started a topic here.....

So, when it comes to electronic gaming, will there be Arcades there or Home Consoles or both?

I didn't even think about that, but with as big as the GRB is, it would be pretty cool to have an arcade room available.

I'm thinking a mix of both....though usually, it takes having volunteers to bring their home consoles....

Though, I'm not asking for anything here really, since I believe I'll be in the dealers room and checking out all the panels more than anything.

I'm really excited, I'm still trying to decide what to cosplay....

And I really wish this forum was more active....lol

Well, we'll have MechCorps present with Battletech arcade pods!

We are currently working on getting additional electronic gaming and post more information as it becomes available.

After going to Joystix a few times since the Con, I still stand by my statement of wanting a handful of arcade stands. The problem then comes up with people maybe not wanting to share, but that is a risk I'd be willing to take (seeing as I'm not actually in charge).

I think last year GameStop had a booth with a couple displays setup, but I never stopped by to check it out, so I don't remember all the details. But having them back with a bit of an expansion, along with maybe a couple of the Game design companies that work out of Austin would make for a nice little video game corner.

Seeing as we are almost a full year away at this point, it would be hard to say what games I would want to see though.
