Cheaper Lodging

The Hilton is awesome and super convenient but for those looking for cheaper alternatives there are hotels along the Metro and Embassy Suites and Holiday Inn within a short walk.

The rates they have with the Hilton (http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/groups/personalized/HOUCVHH-1CP-20100326/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POG) are actually pretty good, especially for those people who buy a lot at conventions. I went home with a long box 75% full from last year, so the skyway with direct access is a nice advantage.
Doing a quick search on hotels.com the $110/night at the Hilton for a standard room is cheaper than the next three closest hotels (Holiday Inn, Inn at the Ballpark, Four Seasons) all of which are also relatively cheap right now, should the Hilton fill up.

Yeah before we volunteered, the six of us coming from OKC were planning on paying like maybe thirty a night, for a pretty big room, but since then have worked out other lodgings *wink* Of course when I say the six, I am coming with a group of six, but surely others from the area will be there as well...
