Shuttle Service

Need to get from the Airport to Comicpalooza?  Well a new shuttle service to and from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and the George R. Brown Convention Center is now available!   Houston METRO will be running a shuttle service to and from George Bush Intercontinental Airport Terminal C and a handful of hotels downtown during Comicpalooza.  One-way trips require 45 minutes and cost just $4.50. Service operates every 30 minutes, every day, between the hours of 4:50 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.

The route will make stops the Hilton Americas Hotel/G. Brown Convention Center, the Four Seasons Hotel, the Downtown Hyatt Hotel and the METRORail Main St. Square Station/Marriott Courtyard.  Fares can be purchased by METRO Q Fare Card, METRO Money or cash (exact change). Concierge service will continue at the IAH's Terminal C, providing travelers with assistance with fares, receipts, passenger boarding, luggage and directions.   For Airport Direct and other METRO transit services, schedules and fare information please visit www.RideMETRO.org.

Coming from Dallas, Conroe, The Woodlands, Bush Intercontinental Airport

Take I-45 South > to I-10 East > to US-59 South (exit #770A) > exit Downtown Destinations-Hamilton Street > right on Capitol Street > left on Avenida de las Americas.


I-45 NORTH

Coming from Galveston, NASA, Clear Lake, Houston Hobby Airport

Take I-45 North > exit Downtown Destinations (exit #45) > exit Pease Street > right on Dowling Street > left on Polk Street > right on Avenida de las Americas.


US-59 SOUTH

Coming from Kingwood, Humble, Bush Intercontinental Airport

Take US-59 South > exit Downtown Destinations-Jackson Street > left on Franklin Street > right on Hamilton Street > right on Capitol Street > left on Avenida de las Americas.

Bush Interncontinental Airport Info

George Bush Interncontinental Airport: Our city's largest airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), joined the Houston Airport System in June 1969. Bush Intercontinental is located approximately 23 miles north of downtown Houston, near the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8 North).
