A talented actress with impressive range, Erin Moriarty continues to expand her repertoire with impactful projects. Most recently, Moriarty can be seen in the second season of Amazon’s irreverent superhero series, THE BOYS. The show follows a group of vigilantes who set out to take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their superpowers. Moriarty plays Annie January a/k/a Starlight, a burgeoning hero who is quickly disillusioned with the manufactured world of superhero culture. The series’ first season premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and debuted to tremendous critical acclaim on July 26, 2019.

On the big screen, she recently appeared alongside Jason Sudeikis, Judy Greer, and Lee Pace in the narcotics thriller, DRIVEN. The film was released by Universal Pictures Content Group on August 16, 2019. Previously, Moriarty was seen opposite Krysten Ritter in a recurring role for Netflix’s JESSICA JONES. Based on the Marvel comic, the series follows the exploits of the titular former superhero as she tries to rebuild her life as a private investigator, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City. Moriarty also played Woody Harrelson’s troubled teenage daughter on HBO’s award winning drama, TRUE DETECTIVE. Prior, she was a series regular on Melissa Rosenberg’s RED WIDOW for ABC, where she played the daughter of a housewife who inadvertently gets caught up in the world of organized crime.

The actress made her feature film debut as Vince Vaughn’s daughter “Chelsea” in 20th Century Fox’s comedy, THE WATCH, which also starred Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill. She went on to appear in her breakout role as “Kelly” in Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Sundance Film Festival selection, THE KINGS OF SUMMER. The film follows a group of friends who decide to spend their summer building a house in the woods and living off the land. Following that, she was seen alongside Viggo Mortensen in the critically acclaimed drama, CAPTAIN FANTASTIC. Her additional film credits include AFTER THE DARK, BLOOD FATHER, WITHIN, THE MIRACLE SEASON, and THE EXTRAORDINARY JOURNEY OF THE FAKIR.
