Tenoch Huerta is a Mexican actor and producer. Tenoch is an Ariel Award winner for Best Actor from the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In addition to being bilingual, he also holds a degree in Communication and Journalism from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Tenoch can currently be seen starring as Namor in Disney and Marvel’s film, BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER. The film released worldwide on November 11, 2022. Additionally in 2022, Tenoch served on the jury the Alfred P. Sloane Feature Film Prize at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.
In 2021, Tenoch was seen starring in the Blumhouse film, MADRES, that Amazon released in October 2021. Additionally, he starred in the independent film, Son of Monarchs, which premiered at the 2021 Sundance International Film Festival and starred in the film, The Forever Purge, which was released in July 2021.
Among the more than 60 cinematographic productions in which he has starred in, Dias de Gracia, Mexican Gangster and Güeros stand out. Tenoch is well known for his work in the acclaimed Netflix series, Narcos: Mexico.
Tenoch makes it a point to combine his professional career with activism. He speaks out in favor of various social causes including but not limited to equality and the construction of new masculinities. Additionally, Tenoch regularly gives lectures against racism and discrimination. He resides in Mexico City.
