Preston Fassel

Preston Fassel is an award-winning author, screenwriter, and film producer. His debut novel, Our Lady of the Inferno, was named one of the ten best books of 2018 by Bloody Disgusting and won the 2019 Independent Publisher's Gold Medal for Horror. A two-time Rondo nominee for Book of the Year, his biography of zine publisher Bill Landis (Landis: The Story of a Real Man on 42nd Street) and second novel (Beasts of 42nd Street) both appeared on several year-end lists. His debut feature as producer, Chris Vander Kaay's .ask, held its world premiere at the River Oaks in 2025. His first feature as screenwriter, Marrow, starring Danielle Harris and Michael Ironside and co-written with Mitch McLeod and Jessica Dawn Willis, will release in 2026.
