From friendships to proposals and even marriages, Comicpalooza has been at the center of some of our fan’s most cherished memories and traditions. Embracing a diverse community of pop-culture fanatics year after year, we curate programming for those looking to create new memories and connect with fans alike while learning a new skill or discussing your favorite fandom!
Check out what we had to offer:

Comicpalooza Photo Scramble Contest
Are you a creative duo (cosplayer and photographer) seeking your next challenge? If so, the Comicpalooza Photo Scramble may have been your next path to fame and glory. The Photo Scramble was about a team’s ability to adapt quickly to their environment, stretch beyond the everyday expectation, and produce quality photos that strongly evoke positive emotions from fans.

Itasha Showdown: A Car Runway Experience
The coolest cars on the block returned to Comicpalooza! Themed with beloved anime and other pop-culture fandoms, this sight was one to see. And back again this year, check out specialty-designed Houston classic Low Riders!

Live Art
Fans joined us for Live Art, where talented artists from Artist Alley came together to create original works right before your eyes! Watch their creative process unfold in real time, ask questions, and immerse yourself in the energy of live drawing. Finished pieces were auctioned off throughout the event. Art enthusiasts stuck around to enjoy the fun atmosphere with games, activities, and plenty of creative inspiration!
