Whether you were a newcomer, a seasoned veteran, or somewhere in between, all gamers were welcome to join the adventuring party! Dungeon Masters from Table Two Gaming hosted scheduled role-playing games for D&D.
BOARD GAME LIBRARY AND OPEN PLAY
The Board Game Library and Open Play, presented by The Adventure Beings (TAB), intrigued curious minds and gave gamers the chance to browse and play games from a vast library collection. All games and gamers were welcomed to join sessions in progress or bring their own recently acquired games from the exhibit hall to open them up and get a game in!

Did you want to win a FREE board game?! You could have checked out the Play-To-Win area in the Tabletop Gaming Hallway of the 3rd Floor in front of room 360! Never heard of a Play-to-win and wondering what it was? Asked any of the Play-to-win specialists for help! Returned on Sunday at 4 PM for the drawing to find out if you won a FREE copy of any of the games you played throughout the weekend! All prize support for Play-To-Win was provided by Double Exposure – Envoy Program and their publisher partnerships. Prizes had to be claimed in person by the winners at the time of the drawing. Prizes not claimed were forfeited and used in future Comicpalooza events.

Did you have what it takes to be a Texas State Board Game Champion?! Could you bring home the gold for Texas at the Nationals?! Checked out the Board Game Tournament area on the 3rd Floor Balcony for your chance to prove your board game expertise and to win badges to CharCon and Gen Con! Competed in any of the 10 tournaments throughout the weekend to either win the Texas State Championship or qualify for the National Championship at Gen Con! Winners of the 6 Texas State Championships received FREE tickets to CharCon 2026 in Charleston, West Virginia to represent Texas in the Southwest Regional Championships. Winners of 4 Road to Gen Con Qualifiers received FREE tickets to Gen Con 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana to compete in National Championships. Adventurers were needed! Due to a shortage of skilled adventurers, the D&D training program was in session.
Dagorath
Dagorath, a Houston-based Live Action Role-Playing game, welcomed all to experience fantasy medieval warfare. The sound of war drums and battle horns beckoned attendees to join in the shaping of the lore. Open to all ages, heroes, villains, and everyone in between.
