Comic Couture
Students showcased their creative flare at the returning Comic Couture. Blending fashion and their love for comic books and anime, students from Houston Community College and UH Downtown displayed their unique creations show weekend for fans to vote on. The designs were a culmination of hard work and dedication over several months leading up to the event.

Dagorath
Dagorath, a Houston based Live Action Role-Playing game, welcomed all to experience fantasy medieval warfare. The sound of war drums and battle horns beckoned you to join us in the shaping of our lore. Dagorath was open to all ages, heroes, villains, and everyone in between.

Eureka Heights Trivia
Fans stepped into Beer Utopia at Comicpalooza with Eureka Heights Brewing Company! Eureka was serving up quality brews, slinging awesome merch, hosted themed trivia for epic prizes, plus pinball and other surprises attendees couldn't miss!

FIRST Robotics
FIRST Robotics teams were at Comicpalooza demonstrating their robots, showcasing their design and engineering skills, and engaging with the public in a fun and interactive way.

Houston Public Library Planetarium
Literature fans went on a journey through space without leaving the city! They learned about the wonders of the night sky in HPL's inflatable planetarium dome. The exhibit also included information about the library and table activity.

Itasha Showdown: A Car Runway Experience
The coolest cars on the block returned to Comicpalooza! Themed with beloved anime and other pop-culture fandoms, this sight was one to see. And having returned again this year, fans could check out specialty-designed Houston classic Low Riders.

Itasha Bicycles
Pedal in style with Comicpalooza Itasha Bicycles! These custom anime and pop culture-themed bikes brought the vibrant world of Itasha art to two wheels.

Jurassic Park Motorpool
The Texas Division of the Jurassic Park Motorpool proudly displayed vehicles and props from the famous Jurassic Park!

Kidtopia
There was oodles of entertainment and family fun activities! Trivia, D&D sessions, Kids Cosplay Contest and so much more took place at the Kidtopia area on the exhibition floor.

LEGO - Houston Brick Club
Kids checked out custom LEGO creations from local builders centering on Star Wars, Comic, Pop Culture, and Fantasy-related themes. Each creation was on a custom display for Comicpalooza attendees to enjoy and photograph. Also, a magnificent mosaic was displayed onsite by and for the community.

Live Art
Attendees joined us for Live Art, where talented artists from Artist Alley came together to create original works right before your eyes! Con-goers watched their creative process unfold in real time, asked questions, and immersed themselves in the energy of a live drawing. Finished pieces were auctioned off throughout the event. Art enthusiasts enjoyed the fun atmosphere with games, activities, and plenty of creative inspiration!

MechCorps
Have you ever wanted to drive a giant robot armed to the teeth with lasers, cannons, and missiles to the battlefield? Mech Corps let you fight one on one, free for all, or against the computer in these pods created uniquely for this game.

RC Car Expo
The RC Car Expo is a 1:28 MiniZ Racing & 1:10 Drift Car Experience that intrigues the nerd, geek, or weeb in you.

Society for Creative Anachronism
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an inclusive community pursuing research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat and culture. The lives of participants are enriched as we gained knowledge of history through activities, demonstrations, and events.
