13th Floor Haunted House

Dare to enter the 13th Floor Haunted House at Comicpalooza! Experience a spine-chilling walkthrough filled with scares, surprises, and heart-pounding thrills around every corner.

Comic Couture

Students showcase their creative flair at the returning Comic Couture. Blending fashion with their love for comic books and anime, students from Houston Community College and UH Downtown display their unique creations during show weekend for fans to vote on. The designs are a culmination of hard work and dedication over several months leading up to the event.

Dagorath

Dagorath, a Houston-based Live Action Role-Playing game, welcomes all to experience fantasy medieval warfare. The sound of war drums and battle horns beckons you to join us in shaping our lore. Dagorath is open to all ages, heroes, villains, and everyone in between.

FIRST Robotics

FIRST Robotics teams will be at Comicpalooza, demonstrating their robots, showcasing their design and engineering skills, and engaging with the public in a fun and interactive way.

Houston Public Library Planetarium

Literature fans can go on a journey through space without leaving the city! They learn about the wonders of the night sky in HPL's inflatable planetarium dome. The exhibit also includes information about the library and a table activity.

Itasha Showdown: A Car Runway Experience

The coolest cars on the block return to Comicpalooza! Themed with beloved anime and other pop-culture fandoms, this sight is one to see. And back again this year, check out specialty-designed Houston classic Low Riders!

Itasha Bicycles

Pedal in style with Comicpalooza Itasha Bicycles! These custom anime and pop culture-themed bikes bring the vibrant world of Itasha art to two wheels.

Kidtopia

There is oodles of entertainment and family fun activities! Trivia, D&D sessions, Kids Cosplay Contest, and so much more take place at the Kidtopia area on the exhibition floor.

LEGO - Houston Brick Club

Kids can check out custom LEGO creations from local builders centering on Star Wars, Comic, Pop Culture, and Fantasy-related themes. Each creation is on a custom display for Comicpalooza attendees to enjoy and photograph. Also, a magnificent mosaic is displayed onsite by and for the community.

Society for Creative Anachronism

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an inclusive community pursuing research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, and culture. The lives of participants are enriched as they gain knowledge of history through activities, demonstrations, and events.

The Star Wars Alliance

The Star Wars Alliance is a group of Star Wars-centered fan groups who believe in three pillars: to promote interest in Star Wars, to facilitate the use of costumes, and to contribute to the community as a whole.
