Dare to enter the 13th Floor Haunted House at Comicpalooza! Experience a spine-chilling walkthrough filled with scares, surprises, and heart-pounding thrills around every corner.
Comic Couture
Students showcase their creative flare at the returning Comic Couture. Blending fashion and their love for comic books and anime, students from Houston Community College and University of Houston Downtown display their unique creations show weekend for you, the fans, to vote on. The designs are a culmination of hard work and dedication over the past few months.
Dagorath
Dagorath, a Houston based Live Action Role-Playing game, welcomes all to experience fantasy medieval warfare. The sound of war drums and battle horns beckon you to join us in the shaping of our lore. Open to all ages, heroes, vilans, and everyone in between. Let the battles begin!
FIRST Robotics
FIRST Robotics teams will be at Comicpalooza demonstrating their robots, showcasing their design and engineering skills, and engaging with the public in a fun and interactive way.
Full Steel Combat
Knights are a part of the fantasy psyche as much as dragons and tyrant kings. Fans watch knights participate in melee combat, hear the ringing of steel and the clashing of swords, and root for their favorite knights throughout the weekend.
Houston Public Library Planetarium
Literature fans can go on a journey through space without leaving the city! They learn about the wonders of the night sky in HPL's inflatable planetarium dome. The exhibit also includes information about the library and a table activity.

Itasha Showdown: A Car Runway Experience
The coolest cars on the block return to Comicpalooza! Themed with beloved anime and other pop-culture fandoms, this sight is one to see. And back again this year, check out specialty-designed Houston classic Low Riders!
Itasha Bicycles
Pedal in style with Comicpalooza Itasha Bicycles! These custom anime and pop culture-themed bikes bring the vibrant world of Itasha art to two wheels.
Kidtopia
There is oodles of entertainment and family fun activities! Trivia, D&D sessions, Kids Cosplay Contest, and so much more take place at the Kidtopia area on the exhibition floor.
LEGO - Houston Brick Club
Fans can check out custom LEGO creations from local builders centering on Star Wars, comic, pop-culture, and fantasy-related themes. Each creation is on a custom display for you to admire and take a pic or two! Plus, fans can enjoy a magnificent mosaic that is displayed onsite.
Okashi - Japanese Arcade
Level up your Comicpalooza experience with Okashi Houston as we bring the electric energy of authentic Japanese arcade gaming to Texas’ largest pop culture festival. Known for our 1,800-square-foot Pearland arcade packed with over 40 genuine Japanese machines, we’re transporting that magic to Comicpalooza with hand-picked favorites ranging from rhythm hits like Project Diva Future Tone and Love Live to racing classics like Mario Kart and Initial D. Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or just curious, step into our immersive space and experience the vibrant arcade culture of Tokyo.
Society for Creative Anachronism
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an inclusive community pursuing research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, and culture. The lives of participants are enriched as they gain knowledge of history through activities, demonstrations, and events.
USS Zavala
Attendees are able to participate in our FREE photo op recreation of the Original Series Star Trek Bridge, come sit and be Captain or navigate the USS Enterprise at the Helm. Don a free uniform to enhance your experience. STARFLEET provides Star Trek fans with a way to make friends, have fun, and give back to their communities. On the local level the members of the USS ZAVALA gather with other fans for a variety of enjoyable activities.
