Kate Pentecost is from the deep, dark woods on the Texas/Louisiana border, a place that informs all her work. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is the author of acclaimed novels Elysium Girls (2020) and That Dark Infinity (2022.) Her work has been published in all formats, including Turkish and Polish translations and has been nominated for the Rhysling Award. She loves coffee, flowers, and abandoned places.
