Back by popular demand, the biggest toy event of the year returns, and there's only one toy store that could pull it off! The Super Happy Toy Show and Art Market will be an entire weekend, filled with two full days of fun, excitement, toys, and beer.

Returning to the famous Saint Arnold Brewery on March 5-6, 2022, this all-ages event will showcase some of the best toy vendors and most talented artisans with many opportunities to purchase from both. Taps will be flowing as well, so enjoy your favorite Saint Arnold's beverage while you shop. Plus, expect many more surprises to be announced as the event draws nearer.

We are excited to announce that Comicpalooza (CP) will be returning to host a CP365 Cosplay Contest. Two age groups of cosplayers, Adults (13+) and Kids (7-12), will be allowed to enter and participate. Per age group, Weekend (1st Place), Saturday (2nd Place), and Sunday (3rd Place) Badges will be provided as prize support by Comicpalooza. Additional prize support will be contributed by Saint Arnold and vendors from the Toy Show and Art Market. Cosplayers must preregister onsite, at the CP booth, by 1 PM, and the contest will take place on the main stage at 3 PM. The available number of participants may be subject to limitations. As such, preregistration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Judges will award more points for creativity and craftsmanship.

Take advantage of the venue and visit Saint Arnold's beautiful beer garden, sample their delicious food, and, of course, enjoy your choice of their many beverages.

Cosplay Contest Rules, Judging, and Prize Support Explained:

Registration will take place at the Information Desk. Prejudging will begin at 1 PM. Participants MUST register before Prejudging. There will be a limited number of slots, so register early if possible.

Participants MUST attend Prejudging at 1:00 PM and present their costumes during the show at 3:00 PM to be valid entries in the contest.

This is a family-friendly event. As such, all costumes MUST abide by the rules including, but not limited to, the usage of coverage, weapons, and prop policies. If a violation is discovered, the entry will be disqualified immediately. Weapons MUST also follow Texas state laws regarding their usage.

All costumes must cover swimsuit areas. No nudity.

The competition will be divided into an Adult (13+) and Kids (7-12) division, respectively.

Professionally crafted or rented costumes are not eligible for prizes but may be worn for fun. Detailed notes and pictures capturing progress throughout crafting are encouraged.

Commissioned costumes will only be eligible for a prize if the creator is present.

Participants are required to have made 25% of their costume to qualify for prize support.

Cosplay Judges will be basing their decisions on the following criteria: Accuracy, Craftsmanship, Creativity, Detail, Presentation, and Technical. Scoring will be emphasized by how much was made by the participant.

*Toy-Show Dollars are redeemable with any Toy Show and Art Market vendor at this event.

**Saint Arnold Prize Packs will be awarded in root beer for all participants under 21 years of age – or tiered beer garden vouchers for participants 21+ with valid ID. Tiered beer garden vouchers will include glassware and pints redeemable in the Beer Garden & Restaurant.
