Last Sentry Comics
Across Comicpalooza, vendors and attractions are spread all throughout the main show floor. One such place dedicated fans and interested newcomers can find themselves at are exhibitors Last Sentry Comics.
Based in Pearland, Texas, and run by Chief Executive and Creative Officer, Travis Huffman, along with the help of Patrick Yarborough, Heath West, and Claude Powell, Last Sentry Comics sets out to create unique and compelling stories that anyone can read at any point in time.
“The Stalker comic, that's like our number one seller. We sell tons of those,” Huffman claimed. Set in the early 20th century, The Stalker includes an action-packed story reminiscent of classic comic book series but modernized for new audiences.
With a wide range of original series to choose from, Last Sentry Comics has formed its own loyal fanbase since their Comicpalooza 2014 debut. “They'll get a copy of one of our comics and come back the next year and be like, ‘Hey, where's the next issue?’” Huffman explains. “We'll say, ‘Well, we have three more issues out.’ And they're like, ‘Well, let me get all three!’”
With their success and loyalty to their readers, Last Sentry Comics is just one of countless exhibitors featured at Comicpalooza that consistently grows with each appearance at the convention.
