Dr. Felicia Harris

Felicia L. Harris, PhD, is a scholar, author, and communication consultant with over a decade of experience in media and academia. As an associate professor of communication at the University of Houston-Downtown, her scholarship centers issues of race, representation, culture, and community in mass media and higher education, and has been published in The Black Scholar, the Review of Communication, and HuffPost, among others. In addition, Dr. Harris serves as the Vice Chair and Precinct One appointee to the Harris County Women’s Commission.
