Ronee Blakley

Ronee Blakley came to prominence as the fictional country superstar Barbara Jean in Robert Altman's Nashville (1975). Her performance in the film won her a National Board of Review for Best Supporting Actress, and garnered Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations. She went on to star as Marge Thompson in the horror cult classic A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). Additional credits include The Baltimore Bullet (1980), Student Confidential (1986) and Rolling Thunder Revue (2019).
