Children and families delighted in what they saw and what they did at Comicpalooza. Young minds were challenged and entertained in the wondrous world of the Maker’s Space where creative thinking is blended with science, math, and a bit of magic.
Nearby a children’s play world beckons as kids jumped and tumbled, giggled and played. Merchants awaited with toys and books and art and goodies. Superheroes and characters from fantasy books roamed the halls often stopping for a pose and a photo. Upstairs children played with Legos or learned to draw and create comics, while the kid’s room had art, singing, dancing, face painting, story time, along with oodles of additional fun from the Children’s Museum. Children joined in on one of the scheduled activities or enjoyed the ongoing crafts like button making and comic book creating. On Sunday, children dressed up and walked the stage in their favorite costume during the Kidsplay contest.
