Children and families were delighted in what they saw and what they did at Comicpalooza. In the kid’s room on the 3rd floor, children played with Legos or learned to draw and create comics. There was art, singing, dancing, face painting, and story time, along with oodles of additional fun from the Children’s Museum. Children joined in on one of the scheduled activities or enjoyed the ongoing crafts like button making. Sunday, they dressed up and walked the stage in their favorite costume during the Kid’s Cosplay contest.
On the Exhibit Floor, young minds were challenged and entertained in the wondrous world of the Maker’s Space where creative thinking is blended with science, math, and a bit of magic.
Nearby a children’s play world beckoned as kids jumped and tumbled, giggled and played. Merchants awaited with toys and books and art and goodies. Superheroes and characters from fantasy books roamed the halls often stopping for a pose and a photo.
